    Hi -

Having recently been advised by 2 mortgage advisors that I need to clear my debt for any chance of moving this sounds like the challenge for me! So might as well go for the whole amount which is...

    £27,789.94

    Thank you

PS, I did join last year but fell off the MSE wagon pretty quickly! :( , I tried to log in today but couldn't remember any of my account details as it had been so long so I've had to rejoin with the sightly ammended user name of Mum.Wife.Me. (with a full stop on the end!) So I can either have a new number or pick 109 back up, whatever is easiest for you - Thanks so much x

  • Good morning Muppets - please could I join in here?
I have been debt free once before but due to a change in circumstances I am back in debt again. The total figure won't be known for a couple of months yet but I would really like to pay off
£5750 this year, which will be a good start.

Hi Pixiefairydust! I would start your own thread with your question so you can get the proper responses it deserves, if you're going to get a loan i would go for the highest monthly repayments you can deffo afford without relying on overtime that might not always be available... do you have side hustles eg selling on eBay, matched betting, a 2nd job etc etc? If you can make extra money on the side and cut back anywhere in your budget you might not need a loan...

I started a thread below if you want to chat on there?? It's more of a wannabe debt free diary now and a bit lonely on there haha
