Paid £207.90 to CC. Have also managed to move £5k to 0% interest card which leaves £3500 on 1st card which I'm still being charged interest on...going all out to clear this!

Just state how much debt you'd like to pay off by Christmas. Muppets will give you a number which you should then include any time you make an update to your progress. More details are in the first post of the thread.

    Hello everyone!

Please can I join this challenge?

I have £57,460.88 total debt at the moment from some large purchases and house renovations.

Aiming to have this down to £30,000 by the end of this year so my goal is to clear £27,460.88 by Xmas 19 and the remainder in 2020.

I have taken on a second job to pay for the house work that was needed, so not overly worried about debt level but keen to get rid of it asap.

I generally make additional weekly payments on top of the monthly DD's. I also move things round to save on interest where I can so my balance reduction will come from a combination of these, living frugally and trying to stop DH from spending.

I need to pay around £3,500 off a month to meet my target.

Having a bad month, only managed to pay the minimum payments due to relying on some credit card spending which will be paid off instead.

So I've paid £171.59 this month.
