By the way, don't worry about working out your % paid as I can do that for you!

Thank you muppets for your hard work looking after the thread. It does feel good to see the % paid on the front page.
I was saving some money for emergencies, but was horrified at how much interest I was paying on a catalogue, so used most of my money to clear the outstanding amount and close the account. Fingers crossed for a quiet week until payday
My update is
#008 £3570/£8094
Well done everyone, keep going.

Great work everyone, big congratulations to a_silver_lining and supersaver1000!
Statement date has rolled around so I have made monthly payments. With the Santander balance clear (kind of - I'm revolving all spending through it until I sort out banking here) I can now throw more at the MBNA whose 0% expires in July - it was £999 so I sent £111 at it.
Due to the vagaries of waiting for a Swedish tax number I haven't been paid yet so may be able to pay off more or to replenish savings when I get paid at the start of May (I'm waiting to see just how big the infamous Swedish tax take is)!
Brexit didn't happen (gasp) so no benefits of a weak pound for me to speed up repayment.
#173 Paid £137 = £1,704.13 / £5,8000
