thisone - I'm just trying out your method of using the prepaid Mastercard on Amazon, did you receive an email from Amazon when the top up didn't go through, it's showing as cancelled on Amazon but no email as yet. Not sure if I should wait for an email before adjusting the expiry year and attempting the top up again?

EDIT - just received a payment declined email from Amazon. Now on to stage 2!

Yes I did chels. I'm not sure whether the key part of it was just changing date, that might have just avoided the £1 getting deducted, I think the 15 day wait before noticing the date might have then allowed time for verification. Can't hurt to wait a few minutes before trying again?

Hmmm, may be I was too hasty, my top up order has been showing as processing for over 30 minutes which would seem unusual.

In the comments under the Mastercard redeem options on Swagbucks, someone else has said to enter the expiry date incorrectly initially and then correct it etc and someone replied saying it worked for them so the method defo seems to work.

Oh well, will have to wait to see what happens I guess! Trouble is I've got 13 to do in total  so if my activity hasn't already been flagged it might if I try to do this with all of them. I might try the Paypal method instead/aswell.

Sorry I don't have a great memory, but now you've mentioned it I think it did take longer than usual to get that first decline. I can't imagine it's possible to get flagged for one wrong date and the worse that could happen would surely be confirmation of some detail or other to confirm that it's your money you're trying to access?

The initial decline happened within a few minutes but once I'd corrected the expiry date I requested the top again and that's still processing, it's been well over an hour now.

Just tried the 2 Paypal accounts method - the money has transferred but with a fee of £0.54. I thought transferring funds between 2 Paypal accounts was free? May be I did something wrong?

Which way did you do it?

I added the prepaid Mastercard to Paypal account 1, sent a money request from Paypal account 2, paid the money request from Paypal account 1 using the Mastercard.

    Hope that makes sense!
