How old is your Christmas tree?

We have a baby angel/fairy..... it has to be at least 70 years old .... I think it was off a cracker when my mother was a small child......my Dd hates it but I think it’s lovely to have ‘history’ rather than faceless ornaments.....
We’ve even got ‘decorations’ made when the kids were in primary..... oh my gosh how we laugh every yearGrocery spends £193.44/ £70 per week or £303 per month0 -
26+ yearsMy Mum's tree is 62 years old & brought out every year. It's much loved, perhaps showing it's age a little bit, but Christmas wouldn't be the same without it. It was bought for my 1st Christmas in 1957.0

26+ yearsOur little tree is still looking good as new after 31 years and I still love it. Twice during the 31 years we've had real trees but because of the mess and the sadness of chucking the used tree we've gone back to the old trusty. Most of the decs on it are at least 20 or 25 years old too.
Can't see the point in buying new every year.0 -

When it goes up I'm always grumpy as the children have to decorate it, my husband insists warm white lights are boring so it's multi coloured, and the angel is one my husband made 39ish years ago - I'm not a fan of home made decorations by hamfisted children that don't match my colour scheme!!
I appreciate that sounds very Grinchy but I can't help it and I do grin and bear it whilst I long for a Christmas out of a Good Home magazine, though I expect when there comes a time for that I shall be lamenting of the days when the children would decorate the tree....
My mother always said I was contrary

Mine is 5 years old (bought secondhand) with inbuilt lights and is okay, but I will replae it in a couple of years as it's looking a bit sparse. My parent's is 35 years old and still alright, it was from Do-It-All and not particularly cheap. Better quality than my newer one.0

16-20 yearsI have some tall branches coated in sparkly white which I arrange in a tall glass pasta jar and put a few baubles on and wind around a string of those battery operated lights from the poundshop. That was my 'tree' thirty years ago when I had to live in a tiny bedsit, and I've used it as my tree ever since. I stand it on a small red velvet covered table in a corner and pile the presents around it, any larger parcels go on the floor under the velvet drape. Looks very chic and minimalist, and I love it!0

26+ yearsMy, rather threadbare, artificial tree was bought for my first (or possibly second) Christmas. So it is at least 71 years old. It has a utility label on the base.
These days it is supplemented with a more recent acquisition (5 years).0 -
My fine Christmas tree came from Woolies so it's over 20 years old.
It sheds so much that we have to hoover under it like a real tree Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0
