Does this mean the IA ISA I took out just before the end of the tax year at 1.25% is being reduced, or is it just for new customers?0

Though it's variable rather than fixed.Aidanmc said:Futuristic said:Is the post office 1.3% fixed 1yr now the next best available?

Yes. It's a shame to see one of last year's last year's top ISAs reduce its rate drastically though I'd have been happy to know I was getting 13 months at the original rate given that the original account included a 15-16 month bonust o 31 July 2021. I was in a position to fix most of my ISA amid the tumbling rates, so had already transferred most of it to the Coventry's 2 year fix at 1.35% - this is still available as Frogletina mentioned on the previous page.colsten said:More depressing news from Coventry

I was more frustrated to see that the Regular Saver, which I opened only one month ago, is also cutting its rate from 2.5% to 1.85% and as a variable rate account this will impact the account I've already set up. Given the 12 month term and the restrictions on access (30 day interest penalty), a bit frustrating this was not fixed, like so many others are. I can stop paying in of course and there also appears to be an option to close without a penalty if I am unhappy. (appreciate this is not an ISA so apologies for tying in to this discussion - I can see this is also being discussed in the main savings forum)0 -
Does anybody know if the Coventry Easy Access ISA (Online) permits partial transfers out?Stompa0

Yes its reducing to .55% so here we go again, after all the faffing about with snail mail, grid cards etc im moving again! Shawbrook bank, but what's the betting they reduce as soon as I've transferred?. Im also annoyed that Coventry state that you can't take anything out for 1 month, ok the months nearly up, just saying. Ive now moved from Santander to Cynergy, to Coventry in the last month!
Yours doesn't appear to be on the list but to be sure, you should check with Coventry.roddydogs said:Does this mean the IA ISA I took out just before the end of the tax year at 1.25% is being reduced, or is it just for new customers?0
