That when you go food shopping you by the own brand makes as much as you can, as i know some people dont like say tesco own toothpaste or toilet roll? Or Aldi's cheapest spagetti hoops? You get my drift.
Iam up for it, Think it would be intresteing to see how much we would save if we were shopping the way we noramly do

Also once you been shopping add all the own brands up and put them on here so we know how much you spent/saved.

    Let me know.

I mostly shop at Lidl:beer: you cant get cheaper than that:D

I think there was a thread about this a while back - people tried getting only white label products. Lidl and Aldi is just as a cheap. I have been getting white label or lidl and aldi for a while now. Cant tell the difference.

I try and swop around things quite a bit, maybe we could offer alternatives to people struggling to brand swop?

    I am having problems replacing:

    Ribena
    Marmite
    Walkers crisps

If anyone has any good suggestions I will happily try them out!

    Thanks!

have your tried hi-juice blackcurrant squash as a ribena alternative?

I was going to suggest Tesco Hi-Juice too, just as nice and very often on offer. Think it's 2 bottles for £1.90

We've switched to Tesco Healthy Living beans which are actually nicer than Heinz. And Tesco Cola (37p) instead of Coca Cola (£1.45) - saves a fortune the way the lads drink it!
