Well it appears Ihave had pneumonia which explains how awful l have been feeling. Different antibiotics now should make a difference. Have been approroved for a blue badge and also attendance allowance which is very nice but makes me realise that I am not expected to live that long.
Will post again soon, thanks for all the support.0 -
Poppy, thank you for updating us. Pneumonia is bad enough by itself, and dreadfully debilitating, especially given your pre existing illness. I hope the new antibiotic helps clear it out of your lungs.
Sending virtual hugs and warm wishes, and hoping that the extra burden of the pneumonia lifts as soon as it can. xxx0 -

Good to hear you're getting ABs poppy. However, a blue badge and attendance allowance don't necessarily mean you don't have long to live! My father had AA under special rules (<6 months to live) and survived five years. Plenty of people have blue badges purely for mobility problems.
I really hope you feel better soon, both physically and emotionally.0 -
Poppy.... OH was given AA 10 years ago, he is still going strong.0
