Has anyone else used bookasurvey.co.uk and had problems?

I'm not sure if watchdog or any of those type programmes still exist, I'm not much of a TV watcher ...or trading standards where hi is "booked" into a snare ..
There must be some route to trap this character..god knows how much he has scammed out of everyone

Jesus, these does seem bigger than I first realised, i wonder how many other people have been scammed that we don't know about who aren't on this page? I noticed since I put a post up on trustedpilot a few others have also had problems too.

Should the police be informed?

I would have informed them as soon as the money had gone out

I would try and get a group together to see how you move forward on this as it appears to be a huge fraud looking on the review site

Its obviously a very new scam else there would be historical info/complaints. I too would have called the police & reported it. May be worth asking your estate agent to retain the CCTV of Ben collecting the keys.

The bookasurvey website has now been taken offline with the following "Undergoing Maintenance" message

This is due to the large number of bookings processed throughout December, our systems are designed to stop accepting bookings once we are fully booked however this failed, therefore, resulting in too many bookings and not enough staff or resources to handle the amount bookings.

Doesn't account for multiple payments being taken .. I'd contact police immediately whilst you have a chance but hope this is a genuine message ... however I feel not too hopeful

I’m going to ring the police tomorrow and report this. I’m confident they will be able to obtain CCTV footage from various sources. I’m spoken to my agent who says it has also happened to another purchaser on their books. I think creating a group of all of us who have been affected would be a good idea.

To be fair I wasn't aware it was a scam to start off with, I was just giving them the benefit of doubt, it's only come clear it's a scam after posting in here.

That guff about them taking too many orders is rubbish too as surely that Ben Davies would have been in contact either way. I have reported the site to action fraud and my bank was investigating them.

I doubt its genuine. This webpage doesn't account for a 3rd party failing to communicate

Are peoples payments being taken by hunterandmason or bookasurvey?

I had assumed hunterandmason but now realise I'm probably wrong there.
