Hi chums and congrats weemidgie on the new arrival I had two December babies 2nd and 19th and youngest DD, her son was born on 16th so Christmas is a bit expensive as I have always made a pint of ensuring Birthdays were separate from Christmas.
Hairdressers done and followed by coffee and a free mince pie at U3A coffee morning, HM leek and potato soup for lunch with some delicious pate and crackers, pate was reduced to half price in Dobbies deli along with several cheeses (just had to treat myself but it only came to around £4.00) and my food bill will be low this month as I am away for quite a bit of it.
No cooking tonight as its pub quiz so supper will be eaten there
U3A Christmas party tomorrow so not a lot of cooking tomorrow either
Right time for a cuppa , hope everyone is wrapped up warm and dry
take care all

Congratulations Midgie. Specky I would buy the baby something just.
Home from work and having roast beef for dinner. Doing some housework while it cooks.
Haven’t got my Christmas tree up yet, might do it tomorrow night.
It’s a cold windy night here, the sea is very rough too. So a night in the house will do just great!0 -

Congratulations Midge!
Speky could you pick something for the baby from say Argos, then check with the parents to see if the baby hasn't already got one! (if they don't give you a present, then don't buy it)0
