Was the £50 the filing fee? IF they used solicitors to file then its the max they can charge, and in practice its the amount granted

So you could not attest that it was being driven on private business adn therefore the company was not liable as there was no principal?

I was given barely any opportunity to speak.

I had spent hours preparing arguments for every eventuality but as soon as I tried to put any forward he explained that he deals with parking cases all the time. He has dealt with well over 150 and there was nothing I could say that he hadn't all ready heard before. He said he deals with them all exactly the same. He didn't even open my witness statement. Just looked through the pictures in theirs and asked me one question. Is this vehicle causing an obstruction?.....Which I couldn't deny as it was plain to see.....Then he said they have you bang to rights. £100 + £100 costs 14 days to pay.

The case was earmarked 1 hour, probably in there 15mins MAX.
