Universal credit and inclusive bills in rent

You just say to the landlord, that you are claiming Universal Credit, which has replaced tax credits etc. They are wanting to know how much of the rent is purely rent and how much is an amount to cover utility bills.
So any information is basic.
Tenant:
Address:
Rent = £xxx
Utility Bills £xxx
Signed.
Fred blogg, landlord. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -

Thanks Huckster,
I remember them asking for an individual breakdown of each bill so i'll ask for that.
I'm not sure if it needs to be signed so i'll ask for that to be safe.
Actually I could always ask the question on my UC journal! I'm going to post on there and get a clear answer.
Appreciate your help.0 -

It would be great if you were to pop back here to update with any information you receive for any future posters with the same problem0 -
Ok i'm not planning to make it up i'm not stupid. I have a DBS certificate to protect and i'm not about to commit fraud.
What I was asking in the post is whether that would be a good template to recommend my LL? It was just an example to confirm it had all the information they wanted.
So you can ignore the figures themselves
I will contact my LL tomorrow but his not going to be impressed. I know I wouldn't be.
I have to say it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. It's nothing , not nothink.0 -
I would expect the landlord to have used recent bills to calculate the total rent payable so he should have them readily to hand and no inconvenience to him to give them to you.0

I have no idea what my bills are as mine is rent inclusive, sod them i just wont claim any housing benefit (i take it thats optional?). Id rather use my wages to pay it. Then its nothing to do with themThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Sure done! This is what my job advisor replied to my Journal when I asked:
Gas: £
Electric: £
Broadband: £
Water: £
Total Bills: £
Total Rent: £
separate figure and evidence you are paying rent, three months Bank statement or receipt from the landlord.
So they want a full breakdown but the rent evidence is only two months not sure why she has put 3 months. They're under so much stress and work they can't even get the basics right in their rushI have no idea what my bills are as mine is rent inclusive, sod them i just wont claim any housing benefit (i take it thats optional?). Id rather use my wages to pay it. Then its nothing to do with them
That's the ideal for me too but unfortunately i'm disabled so can't work full-time without potentially relapsing in my condition to a point where i'm too disabled to work.0 -
It is far from onerous too ask your landperson ! to provide these figures ..it is practically obligatory...
You should have them for your own sake and for future refernce .0 -

Beg your pardon? Why would I need an imaginary monthly figure for bills when they are inclusive of rent?
I can't think of a single practical application for this.
