No 78 reporting in with £452.84 for March. Have done the update form.
I don't think I'll be saving anything in April as I am paying for another holiday and also car tax insurance MOT, service and breakdown cover.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Just completed the update form now.
Was a very good month this month as bonus was paid early and it was a good one so added £3000 to the savings account for the month, so I will see how next month goes and may adjust my target. The tricky thing is myself and my fiancee are saving for a wedding, and we are starting to spend on various things now (deposits etc). Not sure if to include that in the savings numbers or not... guess I will deal with that I get there.0 -
£2250 for me, like last month an element of that being share recovery (though that may be transitory in this Brexit chaos).
A quarter of the way through the year already!Save £12k in 2022 thread #7:

no 24 reporting £926.11 for March.
This is a positive number! Slightly put out by the microwave dramatically exploding with a big pop and having to replace it, though (luckily an internal pop so nothing else damaged but still something I could have done without!). Car insurance was less expensive than I'd expected though, so that's a bonus.
Pension contributions go up next month, as well as all the bills, and definitely no guarantee of any pay review so it might start to get a bit sad from next month...!Start mortgage date: August 2022; Start mortgage amount: £240,999; Original mortgage free date: August 2056

Afternoon all, no. 15 here reporting £1,664.26 for March, bringing my yearly total so far to -£1,011.85 - so, still underwater, but expecting more money than usual coming in next month, and hopefully that will drag me out of the doldrums
Hey, at least I'm making everyone else doing the challenge look good - performing a sort of community service here as far as that goes :rotfl:

#6 with £9,796.96 for March, bringing me to £30,354.86 for the year so far. It has been an exceptional couple of months, but the rate will slow down a bit now.0

#112 reporting in for March.
This month I managed to save an additional £1,869 - higher than I was predicting, partly as I've eventually got a refund from my previous utility provider and some more because I'd conservatively estimated the income from my dividends. This brings my total for the year to £3,135.
Having recalculated, I've put my savings target for 2019 up to £7,500 - though I am still expecting lean / negative months for July, September and November, due to when bills hit.Save £12k in 2023 #17: £19,085/£24,000 (79%)

March - met my standard £3881.61 and just added £364.82 from Tilly-tidying and an extra £25 on premium bonds that I squirrelled away. Next month should be a bumper month as my Mum's inheritance should come through (solicitor waiting for confirmation that final care home invoice has been paid) - hopefully in the region of £30k. The following month I will hopefully get a payrise and bonus, which will also increase the % of pension contributions which I count. My stocks and shares ISA is doing well but I'm not including any uncrystallised profits from that, just the monthly amount I put into it."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000
