I had a letter today from tax credits that my benefits have been drastically cut :( I knew it was coming because my income has increased from being self employed. This might make the 10k unattainable but I'm going to stick with the goal, positive attitude and all that!!

  • Feb was another poor month, again a loss but reduced.
Not too concerned as that should be all the xmas bills now paid off.
Also May is a double pay month (paid 4 weekly) so should start to catch up with my target by then.
Well done to everyone who has been able to save at the start of the year.

I suppose its a quiet time of the month for factoring saving totals. I've only managed to tuck £110 away so far, (2 new car tyres) but will add more later in the month.

Decided too give myself a break this month and drop my savings target too 1300 as I’ve saved so much the last two months. Well it didn’t go as planned

I just can’t seem too let myself spend money. Currently looking like I’m gonna. A hit 1800+ again.

I really wanna give myself a break and enjoy myself a bit can’t seem to let myself spend.

So it's the middle of the month, how are you all doing?

I am ahead of my monthly target amount so far but the long dreaded final electricity bill is about to arrive any day and I might fall a bit short by the end of the month ... let's see.
