I have saved more in the first three days of March than I did in the whole of Feb. Swings and roundabouts.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Hello all,

my total for Feb was £228.70 pushing my total up to £1136.09. A little less but I should have some money coming in from IOU's soon and a claim for £80.00 in the next few days. Spreadsheet updated.

  • Declaring for March.

    £2687.

Some big bills this month. Insurance was over £1,000. Overall I’m still on target to hit my goal.

February was a tough month. I had virtually no money left by the end of it. Think it was less than £2 in my current account on the Thursday 28th. I was tempted to move some savings back or even put some spending on the credit card. Thankfully I did neither.

I’d hoped I’d start March off in a frugal way but I’ve spend a load this weekend going out to eat. Maybe I just wanted to get it out my system.

Anyway. Hopefully I don’t go to this amount in my current account again before the end of March.

#77 reporting savings of £582.20 for February.
A bit less than last month but I had a couple of family birthdays to buy for.

As a positive, I have a nice pay rise at the end of March so will have a bit more take home pay to save more of from April.
    12K in 2019 Challenge #77 = £779.35 / £6,000 = 12.9%

#166 updating for Feb, saved £926.06.

Unforeseen car trouble and buying a mattress means that I am behind my target for the month.
I wish I could say March will be better but I have switched electricity supplier and I know the account is in debit by a few hundred ... let's see.

Seems like it has been a good month (Feb) for us all that are saving. Those that have not made their targets or have spent don't be too disheartened. Any amount of savings is a saving. Keep up the good work!
