Thanks for confirming exactly what I said at the very start. Of course no recent changes, the change was brought in a while back after Paypal split from eBay, as well as the change about protection for purchases through forums. I've mentioned 2 or 3 times the 5 month example which accords with what you say about a 6 month limit.
OP's problem seems resolved but hopefully this thread makes both buyers and sellers using PayPal more aware of their risks and rights.0 -
