The yellow vest protest is all about the people rising up and fighting for freedom. .... now the poeple have had enough and will. It stand for it any any longer
Seems like the people have had enough of the Yellow Vests... the number of protesters is down as much as 90% from the first demonstration last November!Every generation blames the one before...

It's quite amusing how so many different groups with completely opposing views all think the yellow jacket protesters represent them. From the left wing revolutionary types who are stupid enough to think any protest is the start of the revolution, to the far right EDL and Brexiteers. They're all there. When the whole thing started because Macron wants to increase diesel tax to pay for environmental measures. I'm sure Trump is taking notes.0

Anyone who ISN'T either a banker, a corporate CEO or in the highest 10% of earners and thinks that the ''system'' works for them really is a bit dim, deluded or brainwashed (or probably a combination of all three)0

My own personal experience is:- a single mum complaining about the "bedroom tax" because the state wouldn't pay for separate bedrooms for their four and six year old children
- a single twenty-year old complaining house prices in the nice desirable areas they want to live are too high
- most people I know (of all ages, we have a great community in mid-Wales) work hard, play hard and generally enjoy life here where there's zero unemployment in my particular area.
Every generation blames the one before...

Not true.
I don’t fit in those categories just through sensible financial planning I have a house I own outright, a decent pension (mainly from my own contributions no gold plated scheme) and I’m looking forward to retiring at 55. No handouts or inheritances.
The luck I’ve had is having good health that has enable me to be in continual employment.
Sorry to those who’ve suffered ill health, ill treatment or Disability etc. But the rest just need to knuckle down and create a decent life for themselves and not expect someone else to do it.
Perhaps it’s a work ethic that’s lacking?0 -

Well the 'system' here in the UK pretty much works for everybody compared to say, for example, how the 'system' works for people in Venezuela.
After all, we have people risking life and limb trying to get into the UK, whilst people are risking life and limb trying to get out of Venezuela.
What particular alternative system do you have in mind?0 -

So what kind of system do you propose? What we have now is not perfect but you have to have a better alternative? What are you doing besides being a keyboard warrior on the internet? It's a bit like Pro Brexiteers always say they want no deal but cannot say what the benefits of what that would bring to the country will be. I'd love to be a believer in unicorns,0 -
You've got to laugh when certain remainers refer to the antics of Tommy Robinson and a few EDL supporters to try and decry Brexit somehow but then refuse to acknowledge that their equivalents in many EU countries hold seats in their parliaments, which here in the UK none do.
Wait until the end of May when they hold seats as MEP's too - yet these remainers want to be part of this whilst at the same time calling the very few UK extremists "dorks"!
Germany's AfD have 94 Bundestag seats.
The Netherlands Geert Wilders Party For Freedom has 20 seats.
Italy's Five Star have hundreds.
Austria's OVP have 62 seats.
I could go on and on but when these extremists gain seats in the European Parliament (as they certainly will) there is a very clear possibility of their changing the EU's course.
So far the EU as usual have no answer.
Just like those remainers who - for some reason - want to be associated with such extremism.
The sooner the UK can distance itself from what will inevitably be a far greater mess than these remainers think Brexit has been the better IMHO.0
