Perhaps Kay Burley was getting abuse because she was asking all the female protestors whether the Brexit vote wouldn't have happened if they'd had sex with their husbands more often.

Increasingly, the UK media is being viewed as partisan by protesters on all sides who take place on these marches.

The reasons can be many, but certainly the likes of the BBC and Sky are aware of it.

It can be useful if you can marginalise the press.

I really don't think the appetite is there for the British to take to the streets like the French

    I agree totally.
Today's news says it all for me today.
It seems the shenanigans at Man United are more important that Brexit if you look at the front pages.

The yellow vest protests are all about the banks.

The criminal activity and manipulations that the banks just pay small fines for and carry on with the criminal activity.

Look at Duechter bank and JP Morgan of late, they can't just keep getting away with this.

If you rob a shop for £100 you go to jail. But if you Rob everybody who uses fiat currency as JP Morgn did with the Libor manipulation then you just get a small fine and nobody goes to jail.
Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future

The yellow vest protest is all about the people rising up and fighting for freedom.

The bankers have had a free run at criminal behaviour and manipulations for too long, now the poeple have had enough and will. It stand for it any any longer
I’m in banking (despite the user name), what free run do you think I have?

I could swear some of my old colleagues went to jail for manipulating fixings...

Hardly surprising that there's rising discontent across the whole of Europe from a section of the community. Who feel disenfranchised. History soon gets forgotton. Do as I say not as I do. Inequality breeds a mixing bowl of emotion.

First of all you told us it was all about "high rents and property prices", now you're telling us it's "all about the banks".

Oh, make your (expletive deleted) mind up!

And how would you know either way? Have your researched the topic? Can you speak French?

JP Morgan were fined €337m for manipulating EURIBOR.

    That's not a 'small fine'.

My recollection is that all the banks involved in these various cartels were penalised with eye wateringly large fines.
