Does anybody else get the feeling that things are really happening around the world, this is it the real GFC 2.0?

In 2008 the bailouts postponed the real crash, but that just pushed the problems into the future and made them worse.

Look at the civil unrest spreading with the yellow vest movements. There is no way the people will stand for another bailout or bail in.

Look at stock markets crashing around the world?

Look at the Clintons being investigated and others in the deep state.

Look at crypto’s crashing all the way to almost nothing.

Look at Europe falling apart and no deal Brexit.

Look at the derivative time bomb going off, just at a time when property, stocks, bonds GDP all falling.......

    I could go on.

Burry your head in the sand if you want.

Believe the lies "No more boom and bust, just booms that last forever."

There will be no downturn, it's up up up. Oh yes.

Stock markets, property are not way overvalued as everybody is saying, they can go even higher still...lol

Indeed. His style of Doom mongering is classic hpc. They are happy for armageddon as long as they get a cheap house. Economic catastrophe is incidental as long as housing is in line with what they 'think' it should cost.

Oh stuff the will of the people.
Yeah, let's not bother with a parliament or voting for politicians eh.

The people were promised a referendum if the Tory's won the 2015 election because they had been spooked by UKIP getting nearly 30% of the vote in the 2014 Euro elections.

True to his word, Cameron proposed an in/out referendum and this was overwhelmingly supported by MPs on both sides with a pledge to implement whatever was decided.

Now call me old-fashioned but when the establishment are prepared to go to such lengths - a once-in-a-generation event and there is a HUGE turnout of almost 34 million people - I expect our MPs to deliver Brexit and we are still waiting.

The reason people are starting to take matters into their own hands is that they see the politicians, who really would rather not leave, trying to wriggle out of taking responsibility, prevaricating, questioning what people really voted for and basically refusing to deliver.

Rather than asking the people again did you REALLY want to leave, we should replace this bunch of MPs with others who know how to respect the referendum.

I strongly suspect that if the establishment do not respect the will of the people we will see a new political party dedicated to leaving the EU and - given the sorry state of both labour & the tories - it would stand an excellent chance of becoming the next government.

Why on earth the objectionable remainers fail to grasp this probability after their failed propaganda led to Brexit I have no idea.

For this reason there is not going to be the required momentum for a second vote IMO, it is a step too close to the dynamite stash as far too many people are going to be really really angry if that happens, and politicians will be mindful of what is happening in France as well. I think we are going out with "No Deal", which hopefully will help speed the demise of the Great EU Project (Economic/Political farce) And as the EU unravels before our eyes only the most deluded would want a second vote anyway?

No, they just see it as obvious that there was a massive co-ordinated credit bubble followed by a bust and propping up/bailing out job which didn`t fix anything really, just bought time for "elites" and the over-indebted. There are many many people outside of HPC that now see a crash and re-set as the only way forward, many of them are running around in yellow vests at the moment.

And yet in the U.K. we see none of that.

We see people like me, and millions of others who just got on at work, borrowed, and bought a house ten years ago, and people like you who laughed at us and are still renting ten years on.

To be a prophet you actually need to be right. Getting more and more shrill while claiming we’ll all see one day how right you are is nonsensical. You predicted an imminent crash long ago, you backed it, you were wrong, and you lost.

I can't see how anybody can argue that there is no bubble in property.

We are in the eveything bubble.

The only thing not in a bubble is silver at 80+oz now valued the same as 1oz of gold.
