Yes, they are all flat now, so will charge up tomorrow then read their "About" so I can see what memory they have. I found three:-
Sony Ericsson K850i
Sony Ericsson K750
Lenovo, can't locate the box, it's flat and it is stuck in a case, so can't access the rear. This one I bought about 5/6 yrs ago. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Just remember if you don’t go online with Spotify at least once every 30 days, any tracks you have downloaded for offline listening are automatically removed from your device.
On spotify, I have two lists, 75 songs on mine, 44 on wife's, ao if I play something from either list or both, frequently, does that count?, I keep logged in by the way. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
No just open the app on wifi and let it log into your account0

Phones are not suitable
You need a modern Android with ideally 16gb internal memory or even 32gb

Making a degree of progress.
I am quite prepared to buy the Mighty at £70 plus. and would then simply transfer music as required. However, I'm nearly 80 and my wife has no knowledge of the internet and she is now thinking she might as well keep using the shuffle with music she likes. Accepting that I have no way of adding to her list. What is at the back of my mind, if we go along that route, we/she could buy a cd and ask someone with a laptop with CD drive, to transfer the cd to her shuffle.
Is there anything on the market that will allow us to do that, ie external cd drive that we could link to?.
If so, that wouldn't require an internet connection, would it?.
One thing about the shuffle, she can place it in a speaker and play wherever she is, so she favours that still.
I've found this https://www.dummies.com/social-media/spotify/how-to-sync-spotify-music-to-your-ipod/ but, it would appear all her current music would have to be forfeited and again, if anything happened to me, she'd be stuck with spotify inaccessible.
In conclusion (you'll be glad to hear), we seem to be at the external cd drive stage, so is there something suitable that anyone knows of.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Yes you can buy external cd drives, depends how much your willing to spend, be cheaper to ask a family member/friend/neighbour to do it for you no ?0
