Thank you Julicorn yes that sounds about right. I don't know if I will hit the target for the end of the year though I will give it a good try. x:)MFWB#2

The £10 test payment went through finally (only took 30 hours!) so I've added an extra £190 overpayment today, to take my August total up to £200 so far.
Thanks for updating as always.Original mortgage total: £140,000.00 (July 2015) Original mortgage end date: June 2040
Mortgage free start date: 16th October 2018 Mortgage total at this point: £132,829.12
Current mortgage total: £54,762.71 Current mortgage end date: June 2032 Daily interest: £7.59 > £2.640 -

Another late newcomer if you don't mind?
Bought my first flat in November 2018 and started making overpayments in March.
Hoping to overpay the 10% allowed (£11,000) before the anniversary of the mortgage (5th November)
Paid off £1,237.79 so far, odd number as I'm making my mortgage balance end in 00.00 each month after the interest is added
Number 98 here, sorry, forgot to update this since May!
I decided that I was keeping too much money in my emergency fund, so I funneled that into overpayments instead. So I paid off another £200 in May and then £3224.96 in June, £5424.43 in July and £722.68 in August. I did it gradually in £900 blocks rather than a lump sum in order to avoid them recalculating my monthly payment, I was burned by that back in April!
My mortgage is now down to 5 figures and that made me very happy
I just have £190.14 left to pay this mortgage year before my 10% gets reset in November. Sat twiddling my thumbs for that time to come nowAt least for the next few months I can just keep putting money into savings to use to OP next year!

#107 again!
I was only just over the next £1000 mark so overpaid another £100 to dip below it!
Total for August now £300.

Thanks for keeping up with all of this Julicorn. Must be a mammoth task!
I’ve just dipped into my mortgage fund to buy new doors for the house - got a lovely grey front door coming and the bifolds I wanted to install when we moved in (I put them in my old house)
So... please can you add £4000 to my total... I’m hoping I will smash it as did a £3,000 payment from some work shares imminently - and I’ve hit this years target with my August payment of £781.37
So I did reach my target for a few days at least!
EDIT: I’m number 56 btw :-)Mortgages Oct 2020: £308,283 Jul 2021 £286,600 October 2022 £253,456 MFW-22 #9 MFIT-T6 #350 -

Hi Julicorn #56 here. I’ve just noticed my total is out by 10p to my normal payment as I have fat fingers. Please can you update it to 27p instead of 37p - not a big deal in the grand scheme of things so no major panic!Mortgages Oct 2020: £308,283 Jul 2021 £286,600 October 2022 £253,456 MFW-22 #9 MFIT-T6 #350

#46 reporting in for August
An OP of £1100 for this month and total of £10,536.18 for the year. Target smashed but thing will slow down a little for a couple of months. It's been a bit spendy recently so I will need to replenish the savings.
At least it's going in the right direction.
