Hi
Could I join please?
I will set a low target as we have a lot of expenses next year but Id still like to make my mortgage a priority too and keep it on my radar rather than just letting it tick along so a £1000 over payment target over the course of a year is doable hopefully and is better than nothing.
Because it is such a small amount considering the large amazing targets I have read on here I did think of not joining but I thought if I did £1000 every year throughout the course of my mortgage it would actually be a huge amount in total so small steps and all that
Thanks0 -
Hi julicorn
Thanks for running this for 2019
I am happy with number 33 and will stick to £5000 target again as I just scraped it together for 2018 and am not expecting any windfalls during 2019 to boost it higher.
Best of luck to everyone for 2019 challenge, Roxie.
Thanks for confirming your target!try_harder wrote: »Please could i join in again with a target of £12000 ..I really need to knuckle down in 2019 and try harder . Thank you

Yes please from #157. My target for 2019 is to reduce my mortgage by £25k:eek::eek: This will be a mix of standard monthly repayment, the interest benefit from my offset account and savings into my offset account. It's a massive stretch but nothing ventured and all that!Original mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.
Mortgage neutral achieved August 2020 - 7 years early!!!0 -
