Not really, this remainer just thinks we're better off in the EU than out.

#MeToo although I am more euro-sceptic than previously.

Why do you think it's not possible?
We've been in for quite for quite a while and I don't think legal systems and legal moral codes have broken down.

If we leave without a deal though the bodies could start piling up...

It does seem that ROI has the most exposure.

Obviously, if the likes of France were to make life difficult, then the UK is well within it's rights to return the favour against any EU state.

Not a secret about ROI being the most exposed, been talked about pretty openly for a fair while.

Equally I don't see much evidence of France and Germany making life difficult, beyond refusing to offer us a deal they don't give to anyone else.

The only thing making the negotiation different from any other bog standard EU external negotiation is the Irish border.

Core options for the future relationship remain the same as they always were really.

We on the other hand still seem to think we deserve special treatment as we apparently have the EU over a barrel.

There's nothing to stop us going for the Canada FTA deal option if we agree to a backstop for the border (something which I suspect would carry majority support in Northern Ireland as well)

    Isn't this what remainers think?

Guy at work that is really pro EU thinks all countries should be as one. Same culture, rules, laws etc.. completely remove any identity from the countries within the EU and form one single one

Imagine travelling over Europe and Paris, London, Rome all being the same. Same food, same scenery

i think thats what a lot of people want

So, it's him and his short time on this planet vs over a thousand years of European history, which suggests national differences have always existed.

...but *this time* it's going to be different. Right.

So how do we get 248,000 net in and doctors can't and hit the skilled limit?

Ageing European population. Doctors are in short supply. Try getting a GP in rural France.

I think very very few people want this.

Cultural difference are highly valued across Europe and don't forget many countries view the EU as a way of protecting their identities previously suppressed by Russia. Regional identities will always remain even if a USE ever happens.

According to this bloke, (Ex UKIP) apparently No 10 are thinking about pledging a referendum between May's deal and remain if MP's vote for her deal

Given how bad things look I'm sure No 10 are thinking about a great many things. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean that any of them will come to fruition.

Utterly bizarre comments from Priti Patel in trying to threaten Ireland with food shortages in order to get a better deal.

Firstly maybe she is so stupid that she she doesn't appreciate that the Irish Famine and the part played in it by British policies, is a part of history which still resonates very strongly in Ireland.

Secondly maybe she is so stupid that Ireland ranks as a country which can feed itself on what it produces very easily (although it might not be the most varied diet!), which is a lot more than can be said for the UK, which can't even come close to feeding itself.
