WH I am defo up for this challenge! Bring it on lol! How shall we do it??? (apart from eating less and exercising more lol!)
Looking forward to your mega post tomorrow, fingers crossed you've got a large celebration on your hands! cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
Well we've done it, finally after goodness knows 2+ years we are technically debt free. I say technically since the RBS card now has the grand total (no pun intended) of £1000 on it at 0%. Our emergency fund has £1024.25 in it so if we wanted to could pay off the debt in its entirety straight away hence the term tecnically DF.
This took some juggling to achieve this month due to the overspending. I've literally taken a few pence (interest) out of quite a few of my savings pots to get the totals up. The TCB payout helped considerably plus the extra CB payment this month which cleared the overspending from last month.
We are delighted . Its taken much hard work and effort plus the amazing support on here to get us to this point. I don't think that I can post up on the celebration board until the actual debt is zero but I feel like we've hit a huge milestone. I've even had a celebration glass of cider tonight (medicanal purposes of course since I feel rotten - cold thingy).

It is always nice when one of the long haulers makes it - it's not me that has made the effort, it is you! Well done :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
