Received a very small, but welcome, bonus this week. We got our final BT bill and were £30 in credit :T . I was expecting to be in debt with them but I'll take every bit of good news that I can get. updated the totals for the June challenge.

Further to my committment to ebay lots at the start of the week I have ebayed nothing. Its been a hectic week - out every night - not much fun stuff though  . I feel a bad about it but thats the way it goes.

    Keep on going.............

Feeling a little de-motivated on the ebay etc selling front. I'm not sure why but I guess thats the way it goes.

Just cashed in £20 from selling on green metropolis, £11 of ebay money which has arrived (I guess I'm counting money which has come in this month) so this brings my £10 per day challenge upto £77.

I've got £13 of ebay money outstanding and 3 things listed none of which will sell for much.

Not quite sure how I get myself motivated.........it all feels like a bit of a bind right now.......:o

Following my earlier post I felt that I really ought to make the effort and therefore as a result I've got 14 items ready to list on ebay in Ebay Turbo lister. Click of the mouse tomorrow night and their listed:cool:

Funny it felt better just posting that I was not motivated to do it!!

Nothing of high value but its keep the totals clicking down.

Remembered my house insurance is due next month so hopefully that will be a few quid via quidco.

What a laught this saturday night is!!

 Listed on Saturday 13 items to upload to ebay. I tried to do it last night but didn't have much time when an error message appeared. Tried again tonight and I've got the following message:

Error; you need to accept paypal as a payment method for this listing

I don't like paypal since I think the charges are far to high particularly for items which only sell for a few pound hence I rely on cheque/PO. Call me old fashionedhappy.gif. I'd much rather go to the trouble of banking the cheque and keeping the money myself.

Frustrating or what particularly since I'd gone to the trouble to list the items when I was particuarly demotivated....

I'll post on the ebay boards as well...............

More ebay money is so thats my June challenge at £90/£300 which is slowly improving.

Looks like ebay are now only taking paypal as an option which is frustrating...

Keeping focused and staying on track however I've got a weeks worth of receipts to put into the spending diary so I'll need to see how that affects the budgets :p

Updated all the budgets and its looks as if we are more or less on track.

The clothes budget is overspent at present but I've had to buy Cub gear for DS and some of the secondary school uniform for DD, plus school jumper for DS for September. At present the clothes budget fund is empty and I still need £65 from it to break even. I may have to use some of the ebay etc funds as an interim and review the budget. £15 per month is tight for clothes with three growing kids and dare I say it us adults need some bits occasionally:p

Frustratingly I can't get into my ebay etc online accounts due to my error when logging in a couple of days ago. i'm going to have to wait for the new password to be posted through. Hopefully I'll get a nice suprise when I log on.............back in the real world.

Feeling in control and looking forward to posting sub £40 at the end of this month.:T :T

Finally got all 15 items listed on ebay tonight. Its taken me the best part of the week but its done. I feel good about that but I will feel better once they sell

I've seen a job tonight which I'm going to apply for. not only is it paying more money (14% at the top of the band) but its local ie in the town ie I could walk to work so no travel costs.............on the doorstep for the children etc etc. I've rung for an application pack so fingers crossed.

That aside I got the £30 from BT yesterday which was good. I also got a note from the bank on one of my accounts (my own spending one) which went £4 overdrawn and their wanting to apply at £28 charge. So one of my tasks tonight is to write a suitably nice letter appealing to their common sense:D

Really looking forward to payday this month. Not only will my income be up by 20% but the debt will be under £40,000 (I really can't belive I'm pleased about having £40K of debt buts its miles better than £52k of debt). Therefore I'm really looking forward to posting my June totals and changing my signature...........its the simple things that motivate.

Still can't get into my Ebay funds account just waiting for them to receive the verification letter. Very frustrating.

Finaly managed to get into the ebay funds account and found there was £160 in there!! After transferring money across to pay postages etc I was left with £114 all of which will go off the target cc. Result:D

Always a good feeling getting another £100 knocked off the debt.

I couldn't wait until the end of the month with 3 of 4 cc statements in I just had to check the last bits on line and our total debt is now:
    £38,736

I can quite believe that we've shifted £14k of debt since November.

Signature update on the way :D:D

Just got notification from my bank that they want to charge me £28 for being £2.29 over my £100 limit for one day!!!!!! Therefore I have just written a very nice grovely letter asking them to cancel the charge. What do you reckon? Will they do it! We'll wait to see.

Not doing too well on the June £10 per day challenge. £90 to date but I seemed to have stalled. 15 items listed on ebay with three with bids on which is OK but I'm pretty sure that they won't all sell. No mystery shops lined up. I need to invest a little more time in mystery shopping I think.

Looking forward to payday this month and getting my extra money (I could cheat and count that towards my £10 per day challenge ;) ) which should hopefully be about £200.

I think we're at a plateau now in our debt busting. We've more income that expenditure so we can thrown a considerable amount at our debt (that wasn't always the case so thats great) but we've also got a long hard slog until we clear another card. Come Jan next year we'll really be on the downhill then but the remainder of this year is going to be hard work. I think the danger will be that we relax and lose track of our focus and well I don't even want to think about it.

I'm not down about it all but just trying to stay motivated which as we all know can be hard at times.:o
