I have been with PlusNet for three years. The service seems to have declined?
:T
Again, not in my experience. I was with them first for 3 years, until I had a massive brainfart and went to Sky. I left them after a disappointing 12 months and went back to Plusnet. I have been happy with their service since. Before my first Plusnet 3 year service, I was with a company called Eclipse, now long gone, swallowed by KCOM Hull. Eventually expired in 2016, I believe and that did not surprise me: they had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Which is saying something, today.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

I was with Plusnet Mobile for a good while and never had an issue (a couple only at that) that wasn't sorted very quickly. That said I suspect the BB side of things may have taken a hit when the Mobile service launched as some of the BB staff were no doubt moved over as experienced agents and new staff recruited on both services. They would have been learning on the job but as far as I'm aware they should be back up to speed now.0 -
They are back up to speed Colin, at least (as I have said twice now) in my experience. A call usually takes me to an agent who appears to be Customer Services. I ask for a Tech and am redirected. The techs always have the knowledge and advice I need.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

I am currently with Virgin media. Their costs seem to increase every year. Was thinking of going with Plusnet. I understand that their customer help lines are British. When I need help from Virgin, I regularly get overseas agents. I can't hear them or even understand what they say.
Looked at Plusnet costs and look quite good.
One thing that confuses me is that at present we have a Virgin email address. If we were to change provider, I guess we would have to change email address. How easy is that to do as we have lots of contacts with websites which uses our email as part of their log in?Keep on trucking!0
