I have been struggling with poor performance since I "upgraded" to Unlimited Fibre Extra on 02.11.18

    My worst results are:
    Download Speed 22.83 Mbps
    Upload Speed 15.06 Mbps
    Ping 30.88 ms

The tests are as instructed by PlusNet and the BEST results are:
    Download Speed 43.10 Mbps
    Upload Speed 17.20 Mbps
    Ping 37.63 ms
PlusNet gave me a guarantee 44.3Mbps. Unfortunately I am not receiving that.

If that 43.10Mbps is via speedtest.net on your PC it's actually near enough to the 44.3Mbps input to the router.

That said the ping is probably double what I'd be happy with. Since they've raised a ticket you'll have to wait for a fix.

Plusnet guaranteed 60 for me, I actually got 73, engineer said his test was even faster than that but capped by my package.

My local box is only a stones throw away. Local exchange is miles away. Max before FTTC was 4MB.

Vodafone promised to be faster, they LIED... its slower and keeps losing connection.

Must admit I'm looking forward to being able to switch away from Vodafone once I can give 30 days' notice at the end of February next year, used to be very good, right up until a couple of months ago.

Need them to sort my account with wrong numbers attached to it and im off back to Plusnet.

Good luck with PlusNet, their customer service is no better than my previous providers BT and Sky.

Not in my experience. I have had great help from Plusnet, including many phone calls* and emails, during a period when BT OR cut off the entire village by fitting a new cabinet and neglecting to research Fibre capacity. Plusnet battled for me against their owner BT: I have a long record of reports of arguments between them, from the Members Centre website.
I was left with ADSL and downloads of 0.5 to 1.5 Mbps, after having FTTC. When Plusnet won the argument and FTTC service was reinstalled, I now have minimum of 67 Mbps Down, 18 Mbps Up. This is my second period with Plusnet and I have no intention of leaving them.

*The phone calls were from English Plusnet agents, perhaps you struggle with a Yorkshire accent?

I have been with PlusNet for three years. The service seems to have declined?
