Definitely worth the spending to create happy memories

Thanks Wannabe. We've lost a lot of traditions as the kids have got older which is a shame, but we had such a lovely evening, that I'm looking forward to starting a new one with her. x0 -
I dont seem to have any traditions with my DS anymore

Can't put a price on quality time with family, I wish I could do more with family. Smalls make up for it though

Boys are a bit different aren't they, especially as they get older. xWannabeFree wrote: »Can't put a price on quality time with family, I wish I could do more with family. Smalls make up for it though

I think you do some lovely things with the family Wannabe. The panto at Christmas and all your activities are definitely traditions they'll remember. x0 -
Hope you get a good night's sleep

Wannabe - I don't sleep very well at all really. Never have done. Actually it's more getting off to sleep that's the problem. When I've done that bit I sleep OK but then struggle to wake up. I think my natural body clock is sleep about 1-2am and wake up about 10am, but this pesky thing called life and kids don't accommodate that unfortunately :rotfl: x0

Good morning everybody.
Day 21/31, 12 NSD's, Prolific £2.80 cleared, £2.17 pending, Cash £56.50 for 21st-31st January.
Monday round up of pots: nothing has changed from last week and I'm not adding anything to them at the moment so they stand at:
Savings £42
DS Savings £10
Christmas £22
Caravan £0!
Dogs £25
Hairdressers £10
Credit Card £130 paid
Theatre Tickets £0
It's not going to be a NSD today but I'm buying things for little people so I'm not bothered. I love this sort of shopping. I miss treating mine to little bits, their treats are far too expensive for me to do them regularly any more
Hoping to have something left over at the end of the month to add to the pots and maybe a small payment to the CC but not too bothered if that's not the case. A lot of the pots have more in them than expected anyway.
The theatre tickets are £102 for 2 and I have until summer to save up for these, so it's all good stuff.
Right, need to do a bit of washing up - where do all the pots come from in the morning, then I'm off out to do some shopping.
Have a great day everybody. x0 -
So, today's spends were:
£17.35 on gifts/cards
£6.50 postage
£98.75 on theatre tickets (a bit less than expected. I thought I'd be charged a booking fee for each one but wasn't).
£3.15 top up shop
The only things I'm taking off my weekly budget are the gifts and postage. I've borrowed money from myself for the theatre tickets which I'll pay back over the next few weeks.
That means I've got £32.65 left which is still a good amount of money considering I don't usually spend anything.
Hope it's not been an overly Blue Monday for everybody.x
