We agree, but you appear to have offered no defence at all.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes as I couldn't defend on something I don't have any details. I have written to UKCPM for a SAR. Still no reply yet. I can only prepare my defence when I know what they have on me, if not I 'll be just guessing.0

You had their Particulars of Claim (left hand side of the claim form) and you had to defend those particulars. You did not have no details at all, sparse though they were.
Have you put nothing at all in as a defence, and what did the CCBC say?
I am guessing they said you have to pay to amend a defence done as a counter claim in error.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nothing received from CCBC as I filed a counterclaim through moneyclaim.gov.uk. After you all told me I should have defence instead, I called up Luton court and they told me to email to moneyclaim to ask for the money back from counterclaim.
Now I have changed to defence. Sorry for the mess, you guys probably deal with these on a daily basis but I have never come across anything like this and whoever I asked they all said too late and should have challenge when fist received. This court claim form is first thing I ever received and all the previous stuff likely went to my old address.
I really don't want to go to court knowing my defence is weak but claimant would not want to mediate so I had no choice.
If the Chinese restaurant is not the owner that leaves the optical shop is the landowner, I wonder if I could offer payment to them to withdraw the case, not sure how it works with UKCPM as likely they want a cut too.
It's xmas time I really want to close this agony and move on to 2019!
Anything I can do at this messy stage? Truly appreciate you all have the patience to help. Thank you Cara0 -
OK so have the CCBC agreed to treat the counter claim words as your defence? Did they confirm that they were not only refunding the fee but were marking it to be your defence?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nothing confirmed, I emailed and called the CCBC, they said they will adjust to defence.
All by email, only an autoreply of acknowledgement.
when I filed the counterclaim, I got a email from claimant solicitor, a standard page - The defendant's counterclaim appears to be an extension of the defence and as such the claimant is unable to provide any substantive response.
After all these phone calls and emails, as far as anything relevant to my offence, i'm still no difference from the date I received the court claim form. No one sent me anything nor I could search anything.0 -
So send the PPC scammers a SAR. You will have the data to look at over Christmas/New Year.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I sent a SAR to UKCPM on Friday I think, then auto reply to send to their dataprocessing dept. I forwarded the email still no reply.
Thank you.0 -
Why didn't you send it to the right email first time, since we assume that's the one in their Privacy page (isn't it?) which is where the NEWBIES thread tells everyone to look.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
