I’m on day 9 and still positive but luckily I still have a box left. It’s really confusing at the moment of what to do. Apparently I can still work now even if positive but I refuse to because I work in a shop so basically could give loads of people it without them knowing. I’m lucky because OH works as well and we can manage for a couple of weeks without my wage.she argued the point but her boss basically told her if she didn't come into work she'd be fired. Now half the office is off sick

Interesting bit about food security and prices in the latest Harry's Farm video. It's from around 7.5 minutes. Some of the comments are interesting too, especially the farmer who says
... Now is the time many livestock farmers are purchasing it [fertiliser] and I’ve talked to several that are de-stocking rather than buy at this price which is uneconomic for them, along with feed that will probably cost £500/ton compared with £250 last year. This means that by next Winter there will be far less meat and a severe shortage of milk on the market. There will be no quick ramping up of production afterwards either, because cattle farming is a long term enterprise and only one calf is born per adult animal per year. Not only that but the situation is similar worldwide. Some veggie consumer foods are going to be very very short as well. Cooking oil will be especially hard hit and in very short supply.

Well, I did my weekly shop today at Mr M. It was very busy, but also noticeable large gaps in the butter, oil (veggie and sunflower kind), the flour (almost empty), tinned goods and long life milk. People are certainly getting nervous again and buying more.February wins: Theatre tickets10

Seems local Asda can’t get the big bottles of oil. I had hoped that was a Ramadan prep thing - looks like other preppers got there first.
May see if I can charm a couple of boxed bags off the local kebab place’s order… (around £50 for 20L!) it’ll make my office room look bizarre but we get through cooking oil.8 -

Oil - sunflower and the healthier rape seed (assuming not allergic) aka vegetable oil back in stock after a ropey fortnight, and budget pasta. Microwave rice still very erratic but got basmati for the foodbank.
