Well on Monday I started my @sda order. When I tried to add my dds orders on Tuesday, it wasn't in my account so I rang up after not finding an answer on the automated answers. I was told they knew there was an issue and were trying to fix it. I started a new order with dds lists. Tuesday and Wednesday, still no sign of my original order so I added my basics and my Dad's orders to dds yesterday, and that order arrived today. No sign of my original order. The moral of the tale is to check your account, don't just accept the email saying your order is in.2025 Fashion on the ration

I'm sure you guys don't need telling to keep hydrated in this warm weather. I do find luke warm tap water rather unpaletable at the moment. In view of this, I have thoroughly washed two 4 pint milk cartons and keep them full of water in the fridge. I use one while the other is cooling.I find I can drink far more water if it's nice & cool.15

I keep a water filter jug in the fridge jko. The water here is hard and horrible and scales up kettle irons and other things.I have to use Calgon in every machine wash.Yours is a really good moneysaving idea for those without the hard water problem.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.14 -
I'd struggle to find space for a jug of water in the fridge, because everything else is in there! Luckily there's more than one fridge...
Flimmin' hot here... feeling very lucky to live close enough to the sea to pop down after tea for a cooling dip. The beaches are black with bodies at lunchtime, but by 7.30pm it's quite civilised down there apart from the seagulls hunting through all the discarded litter. It's lovely to see the local teens going round with grabbers & tidying up (and we're happy to help too) but a real shame that they have to.
Off to make sure the cats haven't eaten all the hedgehogs' tea...Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)16 -

I've noticed some gaps at supermarket, but they are soon replenished. I think it is largely due to self isolation at the moment, but lorry driver shortages and brexit will be adding to it, no doubt.
Just popped in to say: it's too hot! Lol. 32 here today....again. No rain. So humid. Little to no breeze. Apartment remains at 30-31 for most of the day, despite our best efforts. Off to Cornwall for a week tomorrow (booked in feb).February wins: Theatre tickets10 -
The empty shelves round here have been made worse by power cuts damaging the freezer units in the shops.£71.93/ £180.009

No empty supermarket shelves here in east London but what I have noticed is the fruit at the market seems to be in short supply. Got to chatting to one of the market stall holders I know and he said their suppliers are having problems with drivers, but their farms are having huge problems with pickers. They're operating well below staffing levels because of Brexit and the workers they do have are getting pinged. It's all the UK soft fruit they are having trouble with.
