I just found this, does it help?Karmacat said:With the borage, is there a lookalike plant? I have something that looks like people have described, but it certainly doesn't grow up to 4', and sadly it doesn't spread either. The bees like it, though, so I don't pull it out, even though I don't really know what it is.
I've been growing Borage for decades Floss and it looks exactly like your picture. With a very big garden I let a lot of herbs run wild apart from the various mints which are in very big terracotta pots vears on. and I keep an eye on escaping roots. A lot of annual herbs have actually become Perennial over the years and survive the coldest winters. I think it's the years I was too busy to be in the garden so much, same with some annual flowers still going strong. I've named it Hands Off Gardening. Unlike those who dislike cucumber I originally started borage for the flavour and the lovely blue flowers.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

The flowers are the same colour as alkanet flowers, but the petals are a different shape.
Tea - I prefer it with milk as a rule, but black if it's Earl Grey. I do know someone who has milk in their Earl Grey though. Each to their own

I couldn't grow alkanet up the hill, must have been too exposed for it. I love the blue flowers. Couldn't keep Rosemary overwinter either, always died on me
Hopefully do better down here!

I drink rooibos with a splash of milk. I can drink it black red 😜 but find it isn't as thirst quenching. I only drink herbal tea (lemon and ginger) if i'm feeling under the weather. I have soya or oat milk in tea - i only have cow's milk in coffee (or oatley).I wanna be in the room where it happens11

You have more shelter now Mar and less extreme weather so Rosemary should be ok. I grow white and various blues and it thrives here , like the Lavenders.Ihave grown some of the plants like deadly nightshade and others but had to put the frighteners on the children and enclose the plants after my experience as a toddler of both grandads and my dad pulling blue flowers out of my mouth that I'd collected in my little bucket. Well I survived and my mum never knew.I'm a bit treat em mean with a lot of plants and they've thrived. Only the scented geraniums and a few others go under cover in the winter..pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Sorry but milk just ruins the taste of tea, or even coffee! Being somewhat sensitive to (pasteurised) milk, I learnt a long time ago to take my drinks without any "whitening" so have just never needed soy, oat or almond milk. I'll buy it in for guests if they express a preference, but otherwise the family does fine with what the milkman delivers; most of them take after me and don't take milk, but OH drinks it by the pint. Cow's milk doesn't upset me so much now, but I just don't like the taste after years of being forced to drink it at school & suffering the awful tummy aches and other less predictable consequences. I eat a little yogurt (mostly Greek) and mild cheese, plus a bit of cream in things like HM ice-cream, but that's my lot. And my bones haven't crumbled... ok, yet!Angie - GC Dec 25 £376.31/£500: 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 40/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)9

So do I, @ivyleaf. Mr LW.ivyleaf said:The flowers are the same colour as alkanet flowers, but the petals are a different shape.

However, I forgive him, because he's wonderful in many other ways.
I'm with @thriftwizard - to my mind, tea or indeed coffee with milk in tastes awful.
