You indeed... People may regret this!!! 🤪
Just done my Aldi click and collect order - goodness but even with the 4.99 fee, it's so much cheaper than tosspots. It's also much closer for us - about 12 miles closer - so saves on petrol too.I wanna be in the room where it happens10 -
Aha... 🍺 so we can use our own!🥂🍻🍸🍹🍰 It took me an age to find out how to do accents, which was awkward as DS1's lovely lady is Irish and has more accents in her name than some languages. Now I can use the emojis too there'll be no stopping me...🌺🌛🌈🥕🥦!Angie - GC Aug25: £106.61/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)10

Just had a massive catch up. Sorry to be so tardy.Just wanted to mention that I never take any notice of dates on veggies. As long as they aren't rotting, what's the harm?15

Exeter WW2 bomb: People 'unlikely' to go home on Sunday - BBC NewsWe had a much smaller controlled explosion a few miles down the coast a few days ago. Not on the scale of Exeter. It's quite common here but only a few UXBs over the decades ditched by German pitots heading home during the Liverpool blitz and dropppng their load over the beaches here. Nowadays it's generally Grenades and similar things.I think we should make Greenbee our Prepper of the week. I never realised others were missing the Emoji's too and needing Kale that looks like a Lettuce is a form of Prep.I've been sorting through the seeds today. It's lovely how the mornings are getting lighter however the temperatures have taken a dive here.As a Moon gazer the Snow Moon has been lovely. It stayed with us for three nights although it was meant to be two. It lit the sky and was a welcome reminder that even in dark times the moons and stars still shine down on us as they have through good and bad days . The world turns, the seasons change and life goes on.pollyx

Good morning Preppers, 1st of March and the meteorological first day of Spring. There are still chilly nights ahead with frosts, so think of that when making plans. Says the person who bought a load of Spring flowering plants yesterday and planted them up in the garden, some in pots, some in the ground. Oh well, they'll either live or die, and as the garden centre displayed them outside, they must be reasonably hardy. I am determined to have lots of pretty things in the garden this year. Food crops, like peppers, salad veg and tomatoes, don't seem to do well outside here in my bit of North England, so I am having a go this year at growing them indoors on windowsills. One life - your life - live it!15

Nargle I always had a great crop of tomatoes on a 6ft south-facing windowsill. And cucumbers!

You're probably further north than me Nargle. It's sunny now but a heavy frost last night.so quite cold. I'm quite tough with some plants and they seem to have adapted . When I first moved here i started a shelter belt of evergreen trees and shrubs which does provide protection from the winds coming off the Irish Sea. I do use fleece for younger or more delicate plants which makes a difference while they establish and can be used as and when needed.I switched to the smaller tomatoes in large pots a few years ago . They do well and don't need the attention the taller types do.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

I grew tomatoes last year - admittedly planted the seeds far too late, but they were still trying to fruit in November!
