I find it curiously satisfying.
I wonder why. You plus machete doesn't bear thinking about. The RV either has nerves of steel or is utterly oblivious. I'm relieved you moved to a bungalow. No room for a corpse in a rocking chair in the style of Psycho.Have you aquired any seeds yet for the garden?I can't remember what the programme was but i was watching Peter Gunn akaThe one that got away a couple of weeks ago. He'll never know just how lucky he was running away down the hill.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

I'm a confirmed and avid meat eater, but fine this excellent. Mrs Fiver uses 175g of green lentils cooked first (rather than tins), a spash of balsamic vineger, mushrooms (if we have any), and a veg stock cube. Leftovers tend to be converted into a veggie chilli a couple of days later.A good starting point to tweak to your taste, anyway. The Napolina site has many good recipes. Hope that helps.I wanna be in the room where it happens14

Mmm miss the emojis too, they were tremendous fun 8-)
Vaccination letter arrived earlier and booking was surprisingly easy, made for late Saturday afternoon, fingers crossed it will be fairly quiet at that time.Apart from obvious stuff like masking, would be v.grateful to hear any advice or experience, is there a lot of standing (outdoors) at the hubs, are loos easily available if required, and are they ok with carers attending? Feeling mixture of nervous and relieved! x13 -

Feeling mixture of nervous and relieved! xI think it will be difficult to give a clear picture as there are variations in the ones I've heard of. My dd had her jab at a hub in this area two weeks ago . No outside queues but it's a large fairly recent three floor health and wellbeing centre with lots of indoor space. Advice was to arrive 10 mins before appt time. Carers or someone else were allowed although she left her BF outside. Her temperature was checked and 3 mins after her appt time she was outside again. She's well used to vaccines and injections so was just keen to get her first dose and back home. There was provision to sit down after the jab if needed. No idea about loos. It could be worth looking on your local FB or Twitter for info re your local hub.ETA Dd did double mask , disposable surgical mask with fabric one on top but a single mask was fine.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

DryTheRain - our local hub is at the hospital and the queue was indoors, along a corridor. It moved very fast

I gather our local medics have retooled the flu clinic & I can vouch for that being sociable (so long as your hearing aid batteries are up to the distance) and swift. I forgot to ask about plumbing, as the natter was vehement that the matter of fresh air circulation is taken Seriously. One chap was wearing a piper's cloak, which attracted a certain amount of comment, but he kept the core buttoned in thick wool while having a bare arm for vaccination. Awed respect for the nurses who could hear clearly through masks!13

I found that the vaccination clinic was very well organised, people admitted one by one and kept well apart from each other. Exit was via a different route, with a desk to get your second appointment date before leaving. One life - your life - live it!13
