Yes, I've got a hair clipper coming also.I've just been roaring with laughter at an article in yesterday's Mail about wives having a go at their husbands' hair. The guy who wrote it said his wife got out the dog grooming kit, and their dog went and hid.14

jamanda said:Well done!! Wait until frosts gone. You want to get them 3 or 4 inches high (ish). Beware - when you put them out every pigeon in the area will tell it's mates you have put food out, so protect them until they are bigger. Anything will do to keep them off, as long as rain and light can get at them.2025 Fashion on the ration

My husband does his own clipping, I just check at the end to see if he missed anything. He stands in the bath while he clips his hair, hoovers it all up and then showers; it's very efficient.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5911

Our lad brought the clippers up. His thick pelt took several minutes to subdue as where it was sweaty it was trickier - wet & dry hair in one pass lurched a bit. He looks much neater now but there are a few areas where the short isn’t quite the same short & he looks a bit ruffled but he’s cooler & “Noone’s going to see” - we’re no one & everyone else in the supermarket likewise.
The pile of clippings was a thick brown tribble, & I couldn’t find the boggly eyes (👀) so we took a phone snap & set to, doodling. I hope it makes his godfather laugh....

Thank you for the recipe MrsLW 😘😘
Whilst searching the garage for something else, I found my heated propagation mat that I had become certain was lost forever, or I had gotten rid of and forgotten doing. So is now on the kitchen windowsill, under the sweet potatoes I'm trying to grow slips from.
Also, my sewing machine and fabric from both my SIL and my mum are on their way to me. Excited! I checked my own stash, and I still have a reasonable amount of fabric, binding and thread myself. And a tub full of buttons! And whilst I got rid of my old sewing machine, I had held onto my cutting mats, rotary cutter (with spare blades) and fabric scissors, so I feel like I can hit the ground running.
I have researched scrub patterns, and how to do them. And I think I could actually do them, but having looked at the local 'Scrub Hub' facebook page, they have more volunteers than they can handle at the moment. And when I checked out the 'For the love of scrubs' facebook page, they don't seem to cover my local hospitals. So i think i will be focussed just on masks and laundry bags at the moment. Might ask my boss if she wants to reach out to the local care homes to see if they need/want some, as we work closely with them as we often put together financial plans for some of the residents. And I know the carers are also struggling at the moment.February wins: Theatre tickets12 -
Am I odd in feeling more anxious now that people are beginning to stop being quite so compliant over social distancing than they were at the beginning? it seems that people think that because the peak of infections has flattened the worse is over and that they can resume life as normal and that terrifies me because the consequences of that would be catastrophic. It's only the beginning of the beginning of this pandemic, it's not even to the foothills of the mountains we're still only just off the plains into the slopes and we've a very, very long way to go before complacency and carelessness can even be mentioned!20

I very much fear that there's a large proportion of the hoi polloi who just don't or won't get it. Having said that, though, I can't help thinking how much better off we'd all be if the media concentrated less on speculating when the lockdown's going to be eased and more on spelling out exactly what we're up against.I already knew that it takes anything from 6 weeks to 3 months for an otherwise-fit adult under 65 to get over ordinary pneumonia, but I hadn't realised until this morning that if this lurgy knobbles your lungs, you're likely to be living with the after-effects for the rest of your time on the planet. That is to say, you won't really recover ...We're all doomed15

No your not Lynn, OH wanted to go shopping this morning as we ran out of bread yesterday, I did 2 loaves yesterday, but he can't leave it alone, so I've said no and baked again, good job I've got flour and yeast in, so whilst that is doing I've baked a cake and also lucked out on being able to get a delivery slot for this Wens, see if I get the flour I ordered this time, there is no yeast on the site and I've got one packet and a tin of yeast left, so fingers crossed it turns up.
As a few people point out on faceache, the Spanish flu 100 years ago turned round and bite us on the bum when we thought it had beggared off.
Look's like we're in for the long haul.
