I did order two new towels and a sheet today, primarily because of having extra towels if one of us gets ill but the other's well, and an extra sheet as sometimes people can sweat a lot when ill (funnily enough I don't, haven't been able to for years, think it's because I am hypo, but DP does) and so that would necessitate extra changes of bedding.

I've been trying to remember your user name for years. I remember the OS Chronic health thread you started years ago and often wondered how things are with you. I started a thread myself a long time after I saw you on here last having checked the thread was no longer in use. I need to get back to posting there. Winter is always quiet as not many have much energy to post but now dd has recovered from her latest bout of Norovirus followed by flu it's time I made the effort.I started buying face cloths for cheap cleaning cloths a while ago . Wilkos sell cheap thick ones very cheaply and they do a good job. I can just chuck them in the machine with laundry sanitiser and give them a good hot wash.ETA Fibro fog is alive and well. Cheap, cheap and cheaply sums it uppollyxNeed to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

I just think it would be a good idea to know for sure and take the guess work out of it. What is you have the flue and go to hospital or the doctor's and end up catching COVID-19"Coronavirus patients are told to recover at HOME: People who have just mild symptoms will not be hospitalised as at least 45 people with the virus are already treating themselves in self-isolation with daily phone calls from health officials"
The coronavirus causes a disease called COVID-19, which has symptoms similar to flu – a fever, cough and breathing difficulties.
Most people recover from it with no lasting problems, while a small proportion may develop more serious infections or pneumonia.

For info, this is the one we bought for DD recently. https://www.boots.com/braun-thermoscan-7series-thermometer-ear-irt6520-10184257 Pricey, but much more reliable and accurate than the previous one we had.

I actually had a little bit of an argument with the receptionist at the doctor surgery last time I fell foul of a chest infection. She told me I didn’t have a temperature high enough to worry about.
it was 36.9 after 2 lots of paracetamol. My av temp is 36.2!I was picked up off the street by an Ambulance later that day!I’ve self isolated most of the Winter anyway, since I had to give up work due to repeated chest infections 4 years ago. I’ve started appreciating this reclusive lifestyle!
