What did I say earlier about Not Poodles?
We're all doomed8 -
Rice and pasta are alway's in this house, along with SR & Plain flour, got oat's, oil and butter will be topped up tomorrow, it's suet I'm finding hard to get hold of, OH will only have stew if he can have dumpling's with it, which I don't mind doing, managed to get a box the other week but not one to be found this week.£71.93/ £180.009

You can make dumplings with butter, lard or margarine in the same proportion as suet to flour, very successful they are too, if that helps and you still can't get the suet.9

Thank you for all your help. I do have roast potatoes and chips in the freezer and also some smilie faces and hash browns which the DCG haven't eaten yet. Reading the potato websites I realised that my rooms may be just too hot so I will experiment in trying them under the stairs. I have outside sheds but we're often mugged by field mice so that wouldn't be an option.DH and I have just done an inventory of tinned and dry goods and there are a few spaces in there. I have always prepped for a bad winter as we live half way up a mountain and often get cut off, so I shall continue just topping things up if I can. Thanks again.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

I'm another one who is preparing to self isolate. We can do that here easily and it makes life a lot simpler. I have plenty food in but would still like more, as we don't know how many months this will run for. I'm expecting Aug/Sept before life gets anything like back to normal. If at all11

I'm going to stay home as much as possible from next week but at the moment I think I can still get away with going to the places I normally go. I'm retired so don't have to travel on crowded buses or trains so I can keep my distance from people. And I've got quite good at not touching my face and I've always washed my hands the second I come in the house. But it's going exponential so this is a window that will soon closeIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!11

Looks like gov't are only going to release areas where the virus has spread to once a week now - not very good if you don't know if its getting closer to you or not - not very good in this day and ago of instant info is it?11

It'll confirm or deny local gossip...
A sort of chart show for who's accurate.9 -
Telegraph is saying the virus has evolved into a different more aggressive and more contagious strain. Perhaps I'll pull up the drawbridge sooner rather than laterIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!8
