I saw a full sized pair of those driftwood horses the other weekend in Norwich. They were crazy money! 😲I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.6

I’ve finally finished reading this whole thread, it’s bl00dy brilliant!A question though if I may? I can’t remember who mentioned it (it was quite a lot of pages ago) but someone mentioned they had a multi fuel back boiler swallows-everything-but-glass set up. Can anyone post a link of where’d I’d get one please? Or even just the correct name of the thing ha haa!I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.9

I am keen to purchase a very basic solar set up that would charge a phone and a head torch. As a total dummy on all things solar related (it’s one of those things that simply doesn’t click in my brain, I just regard it as witchcraft 🤔😎), does anyone have any recommendations on what would be useful to purchase?
we get power cuts fairly often anyway due to extreme rural location (approx once per week), and need to be prepared for more this winter I think x5 -
