Hey SNOOZER, yes you should have quietly asked! You never know it might just have been me and my buddies. I had a long navy coat on, one buddy had a pink anorak and the other a mushroomy coloured rain jacket. Does that ring any bells with you? The non-market was a bit of a letdown wasn't it? I think the stall holders had let the forecast cloud their judgement on whether to set up their stalls or not. The Red Lion was very quiet and we easily got a table. Enjoyed our lunches as always and, of course, the wine!
Not much spending went on otherwise. I got a nice M & S navy and white striped cotton jumper in Oxfam and that was my lot! Last of the big spenders eh!

Candy...... We used to do the secret Santa for years, then several people got fed up with that so we went back to individual presents...... nothing easy is appealing to my family.
Rotten day weather wise here today, wind and rain all over, calmed down and dried off in the afternoon, sounds as if wind is building again....
Seem to have joined the bad sleeping club..... got up at 2.30 am for bread butter and Bovril, wonderful recipe for weight loss.
Hugs and positive vibes to all, my late mother used to say in times of hardship. "this too shall pass".
