After choosing your language and internet etc then it will activate.
I have been using it for 3ays so far , and only now has the activate windows watermark come up down on the bottom rightNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
do you have a warrenty / service plan with dell0
-
You are going to end up calling dell. What did you buy on the invoice?
However if everything fails ebay once sold windows pro licenses for under £2. the office licenses were slightly more expensive0 -
Are you sure it shipped without a license key? It could just be Windows being silly and refusing to accept the one it was given.

This worked , thank you
I think its a disgrace that PC World told me they could sell me windows 10 if I didn't want to send the PC back when information as above is readily available and the guy I spoke to there was `Tech Support` so should have known this ?
Also I did call Dell as someone asked they passed me straight back to PC World
Thank all , and no , I wont be using them againNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -

Today you have learnt a valuable lesson - This garbage company doesnt employ anybody with an ounce of sense or technical skill.
They employ spotty little idiots with questionable morals, who have no problem ripping off little old dears - and command them to sell at all costs
Please spread the word of your experience
Glad you got sorted by the way

I recall reading about someone who applied for an in-store KnowHow job. He was turned down because he had too much knowledge, would be able to easily fix most things that came in store and so would cut down the amount of upsell potential.

probably because the extra features of pro vs home aren't worth the cost & the licensing doesn't stop you using home for commercial use0
