We've received the SAR from DVLA which claims they requested keeper's details on 29th Oct and we received the NTK on 31st Oct. Exceedingly fast! But they haven't breached the 28 day rule, as hoped :(

Never mind, UKPC's signage invariably fails the BPA CoP requirements unless they have recently changed it. A good PoPLA appeal with the inadequate signage as point 1 should still provide you with a win.

I think he'll just end up paying it as he wants everything sorted before going on deployment. I guess you win some, you lose some. Thanks for everyone's help with this.

PoPLA appeals are mostly a copy and paste and a small amount of editing. Nothing arduous about it at all.

Paying these scammers just allows them to do it again and again and again.

Why would ANYONE do that? He then supports and funds the scam. We find that shameful.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You do know that they is a possibility that this money could be used to import working girls from Ukraine, hard drugs from South America, and fake Nikes from Bangladesh.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

He's going to be in South Sudan for the next 9 months so won't be able do anything if they decide to take him to court. And if he fails the appeal, how much will he have to pay then? Several hundred pounds?

It wasn't a car park, it was roadside parking in front of industrial units.
