I'm not the only person who thinks it's off. My original post on it has 5 thanks, Fosterdog made a great post regarding it, my OH mentioned Nigel Farage shouting about people calling him racist were racist himself (which is what I think societys child was trying to say), and my imaginary cat is definitely on my side.

Just because something is more popular, it doesn't make it right or better. Chardonnay outsells champagne.

yet your quite happy to discriminate against the OP of this thread by calling them racist without knowing all the facts.
You say the ad was not quoted verbatim yet how do you know that.
You are making a lot of assumptions about the OP and the context of their post.

Which was my point. It's totally irrelevant to the question whether the family is Asian or not. It's no more or less benefit fraud. Fosterdog said it better than me, I won't try and rephrase.

Indeed, but who wants to live on microwave dishes all the time?

The ad did not say:

The person is asking for a carer for his elderly parents. He wants the carer to work Monday to Friday and some weekends. Wants them to be a housekeeper, companion and to prepare meals (Curries, Chapattis and other Asian food).
It stipulates that the applicant should be in receipt of state benefits, be willing to apply for Carers Allowance. For that they would be paid a little to top them up to the maximum allowed to get the benefits.

It would be in the first person, and have additional information.

I'm not the one assuming the OP's gender, like some people on this thread have - if we're talking about making assumptions.

Oh for goodness sake. Would you like me to type out a copy of the original job advert? I wanted to know if you thought it was a type of benefit fraud, not all this racist nonsence.

I have changed my surname. It used to be more 'ethnic' and I was sick of spelling it on the phone.

It's just a colour, as I have stated previously.
