  • How could I ascertain that? They certainly are not going to tell me they damaged it!
  • And how can I find out if they actually did fit a whole new column (which is what they quoted me for and I paid £500).

    ask for the parts they have replaced they're yours after all.

    Im afraid your going to either have to trust them or never return thinking they have ripped you off.
