  • We booked our DC package online, but the people on the 'phone line are always really helpful too!
Good luck with your booking - DC is wonderful! We went two years ago and are going again in a few weeks time. We've booked the Ultimate package which includes unlimited entry (for 14 days) to Seaworld, Busch Gardens and the new aterpark Aquatica, we've also booked the parking package which gives unlimited parking (for 14 days) at all these parks too.

Hi, I was wondering what you mean by parking package as we will be visiting the parks in Sept. and have never heard of it before

No, neither had I, I think possibly it might be new.
I was told that I could purchase a parking package for $35 that will allow us unlimited parking, for the 14 days that our unlimited entry to the the parks is valid, instead of paying $10 each visit to park at SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens (parking at DC is already included in your reservation).
So, if you're planning 4 or more visits in total to these parks you save $.

  • I am staying on I Drive in Orlando beginning of June and I want to swim with Manatees. All the places that do this seem to be in the Clearwater area.
Has anybody done this? Any advice/ recommendations?

Haven't done this, but I understand mainly this is available in Crystal River area north of Clearwater. I've been told the best time is early (like 6-7 am early!) morning as you are more likely to encounter manatees then. You are not allowed to approach them, you have to wait for them to come to you. Some companies offer this as an excursion from Orlando. Understand though that on an excursion sold as 'Swim where the manatees live' there is no guarantee that you will see manatees. Also, I was told that the reason the manatees like the Crystal River area is because the water is warmer, it is warmed by the local power plant! - ok if you're willing to risk that 'Ready Brek' glow!!

We're just back from Orlando and spent the day at Discovery Cove on Thursday. We had a fantastic day. I didn't book until we got to Orlando and booked it through the hotel concierge. I had found a Discount code for 15% off (from disboard forum I think) which the concierge was able to use.
Do get there early as the day flys by, there is so much to keep you busy!!! At the same time it is a real chill out day and a big change from the theme parks. It is worth the cost, everything is included parking, drink, snacks, breakfast and a really good lunch. Plus your 7 days entry to Seaworld or Busch gardens.

Not sure when you used Themeparkticketsdirect but currently it is a generic search site that just forwards you to websites linked to the site.

It isn't a ticket company but a search engine really.

this website should be .com not .co.uk!!!

I have found it great for tickets in the past :T

  • I guess the thread title says it all.

I'm taking the family to Florida in April - 3 or 4 days of which has been set aside for visits to the parks. I wondered if anyone had any advice as to whether its best to buy Disneyland passes in UK or US and then the best source in the specified location (if you see what I mean).

    Thanks!!
