Hi there i'm after some advice from all you orlando experts out there.

We are wanting to book Dicovery cove but not sure if its better to book directly as they have an offer on at the moment for 10% off, or with some of these ticket agencies people are talking about.

I'm sure i read somewhere if you book DC you get Seaworld tickets free ?

what was your previous experience with them like, did the holiday go smoothly, was everything as expected, Dave

    Hi Dave,
I had found travel city off teletext and it was quoted a 14 night stay at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort for £2000 Flights + transfer + hotel no car required since on site this was back in 2004, experience was smooth and hassle free staff very friendly one thing I would advised is avoid Orlando in September as were delay by hurricane Jean so had to stay two nights in Gatwick. However the staff kept us information and that a refund would be available. By the time we got back refund was on the door step!! I would recommend them to any one and they do know what they are talking about….

If you click on the all-inclusive package from this page https://www.discoverycove.com/en_promotions.aspx
it explains the bit about 7 free or 14 days (extra) for one of their parks or an extra charge for 2 Seaworld and Busch Gardens or from March all 3 including the new Aquatica.

It gives you 7 days before/after or over the dates of your Discovery Cove day. You need to take your Discovery Cove booking confirmation, which you print out after booking online, to say Seaworld CS and they will give you a Seaworld ticket valid for the 7 days. This ticket will be time marked as last year we saw someone turned away at the gate of Seaworld as their ticket had timed out.

Some people think Seaword is a one day park but I would disagree and always spend two days albeit often the second day is just for the evening for the night time shows like Shamu Rocks :D

You'll find a Seaworld board on www.disboards.com and any discounts available will be posted there.

We booked our DC package online, but the people on the 'phone line are always really helpful too!
Good luck with your booking - DC is wonderful! We went two years ago and are going again in a few weeks time. We've booked the Ultimate package which includes unlimited entry (for 14 days) to Seaworld, Busch Gardens and the new aterpark Aquatica, we've also booked the parking package which gives unlimited parking (for 14 days) at all these parks too.

  • Hi
As has been mentioned already in this thread it seems rather greedy for the parks to be charging adult prices for anyone over 10 years old. We have purchased our Disney tickets already for our holiday but have been looking at the Flex tickets for Universal and other parks. Do they ask for proof of age at the parks - I ask because my daughter has only just turned 10 (and is on the small side) and we were wondering if it was worth just getting her a child ticket. I was wondering if anyone else had done this without problems?

    cheers

I seriously doubt that anyone would question you, especially if she's on the small side. We've never been asked! Just make sure she knows how old she's meant to be in case someone asks her how old she is ;)

D'oh! I meant to say, be aware there is not actually much difference between adult and child ticket prices, so bear that in mind; it may not be worth the "worry" of getting DD to lie to save a few dollars.
