Are you a travel agent by any chance?

    Yes indeed!
    :D

    I actually specialise in Florida...

This thread is brilliant, I'm able to offer advice and still take valuable information from others who have other info as well.

    Hi Jon

Can you find anything to Orlando on 3 July under £500 or better? Could go from anywhere really as long as it's not too early in which case it would have to be the 4th.

    Thanks
There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.

if you go to the beat my quote thread I think you wouldnt be breaching forum rules....

Many travel agents regularly add information in this Travel Board, and MoneySavers often request their help. Yet the Forum has strict rules against advertising/posting for commercial gain, so this thread has been designed to allow MoneySavers to ask for the Travel Agents help without breaking the rules; so both the agents who help and the MoneySavers can benefit. As part of this Travel agents have been given a Travel Agents Code of Conduct.

    Apologies...

I have just read the code of conduct for the first time thoroughly.

I hope I haven't annoyed any other agents, I can see why this would if it was done regularly by every agent under the sun! This forum would be ugly if everyone was posting millions of deals!

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Jon

I check this thread daily for useful tips for our trip to Orlando in August. Over the past few weeks it has become to look more like a travel agents shop and a place where people go to upset others.

Come on guys - can we get back to talking about what is good / bad and recommendations for what to do in Orlando please?

It has gone a little wayward of late but as we enter silly season more people are there than asking about going there.

Must keep focused, shows how mad it is I haven't seen DisneyCJD post for yonks!!!

    Where is the love

    When in August?

If you can go after 22nd August then this is when all of the airlines drop their prices. It depends on when you need to get the kids back to school though. If you fly out on 22nd August and come back 5th August you might be able to get some reasonable flight prices?

    Hope this helps

    Jon.
