http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html - it's a cracking deal. Mikepcon says above that he has purchased them and printed them off so you should be fine.
I bought a annual pass on a flexipay scheme.....and then booked a hotel with the discount it gives...
nice little discount0 -
Also now on http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html it says:Purchase any theme park admission ticket online and receive a savings guide with $150 in food and merchandise discounts for use throughout Universal Orlando Resort. Enjoy discounts at both theme parks, Universal CityWalk and all three on-site hotels. ACT NOW... LIMITED TIME OFFER!0

In the email that you print the tickets off from there is a voucher you have to present in the park to get a discount booklet.0 -
Has anyone ever purchased a parking pass, so you can park close to the park entrance?0
-
Hi,
Apologies if this question has already been asked in the 'Orlando' sticky post, I couldn't find it amongst the 245 pages and 300+ posts that have the word 'ticket' in them!
I've just booked to go to Orlando this summer. It's been over 10 years since I last went and back then we found that buying tickets for the theme parks on the gate was the cheapest option. Since then people have started selling the tickets over here so you can buy them in advance, but I've got no idea what price the theme parks are selling them for on the gate any more.
So, anyone just back? Did you see what price entry to the parks was on the gate in comparison to the advance purchase tickets? We only want to go to a couple of the parks so I don't think we'd get the value for money out of one of the 'passport' style tickets. We're just trying to work out the best value for money! I presume it also depends on the exchange rate.
Thanks in anticipation for any advice!

Are you referring to the AAA Diamond parking scheme at Disney, Mike?
If so (courtesy of AllEars.net):
"Guests who purchase certain vacation packages through the American Automobile Association are given a special "Diamond" parking card. Showing this card at the tollbooths and to the Cast Members stationed in the lots directing parking traffic will allow AAA package guests access to special AAA parking areas if capacity allows. Each park's AAA areas are handled differently, so guests will be directed to park according to that park's policy."Universal has a Preferred Parking system whereby you just pay $4 extra to be at the closest available car park to their moving walkway system. It still involves a bit of a walk, though, so it doesn't necessarily save you much in time/effort terms. There is also Valet Parking, which gets you closer still.0 -
Hi selbel. To look up the current gate prices at the various theme parks you'd need to check the park's websites, starting with Disney (for the 4 WDW parks):
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets-passes/
Universal:
http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html
SeaWorld:
http://www.seaworld.com/Tickets/Visitors.aspx
Busch Gardens:
http://www.buschgardens.com/bgt2/Purchase/Visitors.aspx
However, buying online in advance is defginitely the best way to go, even for 1-day tickets as most parks now sell direct and offer some good discounts (like SW and BG currently offer adult 1-day tickets at child ticket prices).
Good luck!0 -
Yes - the AAA thing.0

I can't answer your question, but I did want to say that Port Orleans is lovely - did you want a room nearish to the main areas? If yes I think Bldg 14 is a good one to request (not 100% though so if you are interested I will check!)
Great choice
thanks again0
