    Hi,

Would like to go to Florida next year in August rough dates - 16th till 30th.

Can anyone tell me where to look for good cheap flights (if there is going to be any left)!

And there may be about 8 of us going, so does anyone know of a good villa/apartment?

    Thanks

    Steph

Hi, I am looking to purchase a flight only for one adult to Florida for Feb 2009. None of the travel sites seem to have anything available that far in advance. Is this normal? When would I be able to book? Any idea of price for a return ticket?

    Thank you

    Tye

I think that sounds a very good price to me. Virgin and BA will have sales between now and then but you will be hard pressed to beat that price, mind i do not know what TC are like.
Anybody, looking for either to buy two mobile phone, with airtime to use out there or Sim cards to use in our own phones any tips or suggestions please.

Any idea when they normally do this? I need to book my flights for August....

Scheduled airlines only release their flights 336 days before the date of your return flight. So yes, completely normal - don't worry.

You might be able to book a package (which can be just a flydrive) already with www.virginholidays.co.uk or the like though? I think they are booking through to April 09 now.

Feb is usually a cheap time to go to Florida for flights, but try and avoid half term which increases the prices.

Thanks KarenG - it's actually for a work convention so the hotel and dates are set, it's just the flight there and back that I need. Any idea of what a good price would be? Thanks for your help ;)
  • whats the chances of getting cheap flights over halloween?
generally we go to orlando every year but for next year prices even though are dates arent fully out (flying out is but flying home isnt but using a closer date) the flights are up around 200 euros each compared to last year

normally we fly with aer lingus but we live in belfast so could leave from belfast or dublin

I do not know if they have set dates but if BA have a sale Virgin will follow suit.
All I can suggest is to keep looking on their sites.

I always view anything under £300 good but in Feb I'd probably be looking for under £250 :)

October has become a really popular time for Brits to visit Orlando because of the great weather and events like the Hallowe'en Horror Night, Mickey's Not so Scray Hallowe'en party and the Food & Wine Festival. When I was checking for October 07 both way in advance and just before for a last minute bargain, I didn't find anything very cheap.
