my god, is it 20 dollars to hire the strollers??????:(
last time i went (2001) it was only about 7 dollars and you got 1 back when you returned it, think it might be cheaper going to walmart and buying a buggy

You are dead right and many people do. The only problem with the Wal MArt ones is that if youa re over 5ft 2 they give you back ache as the handles are short.

Single strollers are 15 bucks a day the double ones are 31 bucks to hire a day!

Further to the (unanswered) question above...anyone know exactly how much a taxi will cost (well, roughly) from the Airport to the top of I-Drive? I.e. near the turn-off for the road to Universal?

    Cheers!

They sound good actually, given they meet you - $60 though seems a bit pricey (but I bet we end up going for them!)

Does anyone know how much it'll be if I just rock up to the taxi rank at the airport and use them - it says $40 on the website, anyone heard different?

And thanks disney_cjd - helpful as ever :)

    NP.

In fact I have always used Tiffany's when I cant bag a lift from someone :) To where I am in Clermont they are about 20 bucks cheaper than a taxi.

I have also had a look at Mears for you. Many people know them for their shuttle buses, but they also do cabs too and have a fare estimator as well.

Also bear in mind some cabs will stick a few bucks on for tolls.

    http://www.mearstransportation.com/TaxiFareEstimator.asp?go=1&from=null&froma=1%20Airport%20Blvd&fromc=Orlando&fromz=32827-4328&to=null&toa=international%20drive&toc=&toz=&

But doing a Mears fare from Orlando International (MCO) to the Floridays Hotel (as a rough guide as its top end of I drive) is showing only 32 bucks so that looks good.

You can also book it via the web site.

Have fun and with the snow outside I could do with Florida now!

You're a star! We'll take Mears - I like the idea of Tiffany's but must save money, for we are poor people.

Only 10 days to go! I had a load of questions that I had worked out over the weekend but I'm jiggered if I can remember them (sods law)
