So I heard nothing back from Manchester City council after appealing so decided to give them a call today. I could barely understand the guy on the phone but it sounded like he said they received my appeal on the 22/11, rejected it on the 5/12 added some more costs and sent me a letter but no letter or email has arrived. I told him Id heard nothing he said to email representations@ which I did and received an auto-reply saying a reply can take up to 14 days. Is there anything else I should be doing right now ? I'm inclined to just pass to a solicitor to deal with them as they seem unfathomable, the photos are still available online but theres no info about the appeal and I've receive no further demand for payment. I'm going to be out of the UK from Saturday for at least 4 weeks with limited access to call UK numbers so want to get this sorted ASAP
So I emailed representations@ the same day as this post just like the person on the phone told me, saying I'd received no response to the appeal, saying nothing was showing online, requesting information and asking if the decision had gone against me like the person on the phone said then I wanted to go to adjudication. I then emailed again with a load more photos up an down both sides of Cottenham street showing clearly there are no signs, lines, meters or parking restrictions whatsoever on the side where cars park. I then emailed again a few days later telling them to withdraw the charge or I would seek cost recovery from the adjudicator. Heard nothing back whatsoever either by email or in the post ? Other than an auto-response to each email saying it could take up to 2 weeks to reply.
I know its not 14 days yet but I'm panicking a bit as I cannot call them now until at least 1st Feb, and its difficult to check my snail mail, so only really have access to email them.

If you don't receive the rejection letter and invitation to appeal to the Adjudicator, then when the Charge Notice then the Order for Recovery arrive, you can then use the OFR to apply to the TEC* to have the case re-set back to appeal stage to allow you to appeal to the Adjudicator.
But all of that would be better explained, by more informed pepipoo posters. This is easy enough to handle as long as you don't ignore the OFR.

Hi, considering the appeal decision never arrived and still hasn't arrived by mail (or email) is the Charge Notice and OFR likely to ? I'm worried this is all just happening without me being notified of anything! The greatest prediction of your future is your daily actions.0 -
You call and ask them if they have sent those, and to point out you are not receiving any notices
All you can do is keep asking about them, and ask for copies to be sent to your email address, for example. Maybe confirm the address they have is absolutely correct.0 -

Yes, please re-read post #3 above.
As suggested many weeks ago, go to Pepipoo.0 -
If all those emails were following the appeals process set out on the PCN, fine. But normally a series of emails is stepping outside the statutory process.
You must follow the process at all times and often it goes quiet for over a month, with Council PCNs. No point firing off emails at them, if in fact you are simply waiting for a NoR or NTO, or Charge Cert, OFR or whatever stage you are at.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
